Let this sink in: It is estimated that there are more enslaved people in 2012 than at any time in human history. The vast majority of them are female. Roughly half of those are children.
This Forbes article reminds us that this disgusting phenomenon is not something that just happens “over there.” The top three spots are TEXAS, NEW YORK, and CALIFORNIA.
